Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your information — and why keeping your data in Canada matters to us.

Last updated: July 7, 2026

Introduction

Concero Cloud Desktops ("Concero," "we," "us," or "our") provides managed cloud desktop and endpoint management services to small and medium-sized businesses, including hosted Windows desktops and hosted business applications such as QuickBooks and Sage. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website and through our services, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

This policy applies to visitors of concero.cloud and to the business customers ("Clients") who use our cloud desktop and endpoint management services, as well as, where relevant, individuals whose information a Client processes on our platform. If you are an employee or customer of one of our Clients, please also refer to that Client's own privacy notice, as they control how their own end-customer data is used.

Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Information you submit to us. When you fill out our contact form or request a demo, we collect the details you provide, which may include your name, company name, email address, phone number, and any message you include.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site (see "Cookies & Analytics" below).
  • Client business data. When you become a Concero Client, your cloud desktop environment may contain business files, application data (for example, QuickBooks or Sage data), and other content you or your team store or process on your hosted desktop. This data is provided and controlled by you; we host and manage the infrastructure it runs on.

We do not knowingly collect payment card information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information through this website.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to contact and demo requests and provide the information you asked for;
  • Set up, provision, operate, and support your cloud desktop and endpoint management services;
  • Maintain the security, integrity, and performance of our infrastructure;
  • Understand how our website is used, so we can improve it;
  • Meet our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Client business data hosted on our cloud desktops for advertising purposes.

Data Residency & Storage

Canadian data residency is a core commitment of our service. Client data hosted on our cloud desktop and endpoint management infrastructure — including hosted Windows environments, business application data, and associated files — is stored on infrastructure located in Canada. We chose this model so that Canadian businesses can meet their own data residency expectations and regulatory obligations with confidence.

Information submitted through our website forms (such as contact and demo requests) is transmitted to our third-party email delivery provider, described below, to generate the notification emails our team receives. Where possible, we work with providers and configurations that respect our commitment to keeping Client business data in Canada; however, transactional form-notification emails necessarily pass through the routing infrastructure of our email delivery provider in order to be delivered.

Cookies & Analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, to help us understand aggregate visitor behaviour, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors navigate the site. This information is generally used in an aggregated or pseudonymous form to improve our website and marketing.

We are also evaluating the use of the LinkedIn Insight Tag for advertising and conversion measurement purposes. As of the date of this policy, this tag is not yet active on our website; if and when it is enabled, it may set cookies that support advertising measurement on LinkedIn's platform. We will update this policy when that occurs.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. Doing so may affect certain features of the website, though the core content will remain accessible.

Third-Party Services

We work with a limited number of third-party service providers to operate our website and services:

  • Email delivery. When you submit our contact or demo request form, your submission is processed by a Cloudflare Worker and delivered via SendGrid, which sends the resulting notification email to our team. SendGrid processes the information contained in your submission (such as name, company, email, phone number, and message) solely to deliver that email.
  • Analytics and advertising. As described above, we may use Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and, in the future, the LinkedIn Insight Tag.

We do not permit these providers to use the information they process on our behalf for their own independent marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy. Contact and demo request submissions are generally kept only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain reasonable business records. Client business data hosted on our cloud desktop infrastructure is retained for as long as your service agreement with us is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to allow for account transition or data retrieval, after which it is deleted in the ordinary course of our offboarding process.

Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable privacy law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to ask us how it is being used. If you are the end-customer of one of our business Clients, we recommend contacting that Client directly, as they control the data held within their cloud desktop environment. For any other request relating to information collected directly by Concero through this website, please contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our services, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, please reach out through our contact page and our team will respond as soon as possible.
